Humpday Community Guidelines
Humpday is purpose built to be a safe space for our community to form meaningful in real life (IRL) connections. As such, we have created these community guidelines to outline the behaviour we expect from our community both online and IRL.
Authentically represent your true self
Age
You must be aged over 18 years to use Humpday and we reserve the right to ask for your ID to verify your age.
Profile photos:
You must only include profile photos of you as your authentic self including photos showing your full face, as well as at least one solo photo so people can identify you.
Profile photos must not be heavily edited or distorted to the point where you are unrecognizable.
Do not post photos of children alone or unclothed. Whilst we strongly advise against posting photos of any children, however if you must include, then only do so with parental permission.
Do not post photos including adult nudity and/or sexual activity
Do not post photos of guns
Do not post photos with watermarks or text overlaid
Username:
Must represent your actual identity. Does not have to be tour legal name.
Do not use any words that violate our Community or Safety Guidelines
Do not use a fictional or celebrity name
Do not use symbols, emojis, numbers, punctuation etc
Behave only with kindness and respect.
Humpday will not allow for the following content and behaviour on the Humpday app or between Humpday users at events, on dates or via communication on other messaging platforms:
Bullying, harassment, belittling, intimidating, blackmail, emotional abuse, repeated unwanted conduct, encouraging violence etc
Physical violence, stalking, human trafficking
Sexual violence, sexual harassment, sharing unwanted sexually explicit content or images, in-person indecent exposure
Financial scams or theft
Child sexual exploitation and abuse. A child is regarded as anyone under 18 years.
Unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes
Buying, selling, distributing or facilitating the purchase of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes
Glorifying and condoning of terrorist-based violent missions
Hate based on identity including race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion
Profiles that misrepresent reality such as catfishing or falsifying your name, age, gender, location etc
Content that contradicts public health authorities, is potentially dangerous and misleading and conspiracy theories that are not yet proven
Spamming of unwanted or irrelevant content
Content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or assists in activities that could lead to suicide, self-injury, or disordered eating
Violent or gory content depicting bodily fluids, blood, weapons and violence
Ensure our events are a fun and inclusive space for everyone
Humpday events are created with the intention of providing a fun and safe space for authentic IRL connection. We expect you to behave with kindness and respect, and lead with empathy, whilst engaging in conversation. Humpday has zero tolerance to the following anti-social behaviour:
Making others feel uncomfortable, frightened or threatened through (but not limited to) bullying, harassment, belittling, intimidating, blackmail, emotional abuse, repeated unwanted conduct, encouraging violence
Excessive alcohol consumption - please don’t turn up to this event drunk. We’re serious about authentic connection so if you are noticeably drunk, you will be turned away without refund
Use of illicit drugs - just say no
Physical or sexual violence, sexual harassment, sharing unwanted sexually explicit content or images, in-person indecent exposure
Unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes
Distributing or facilitating the purchase of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes
Hate based discrimination on identity including race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion
Prioritise your safety
Safety of our Humpday community is extremely important and hence we encourage you to read our Safety Tips to help keep you safe.
Humpday has a team of moderators and internal automated systems to ensure the safety of our Humpday community, but we always appreciate your help!
If you ever notice someone behaving in a way that violates our Community Guidelines, please use the Report and Block function which can be found via the Chat Settings. Alternatively, you may email Humpday at hihello@humpdaydating.com. Please note, the reported user will never know who reported their account.
However, please note if we become aware of reports based solely on identity attributes such as race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, we reserve the right to take action against the user who is falsely reporting.
Humpday has zero tolerance for those that breach our Community and Safety Guidelines. Failure to comply may result in removal of content, a warning issued and/or permanent removal from the Humpday App. If we believe necessary, we will refer to law enforcement and assist in any criminal investigations relating to Humpday users’ content and behaviour.
